(KAIR)--Voters in Atchison and Jefferson Counties went to the polls Tuesday to cast their votes in local city and school board races.
In the race for Atchison City Commission, Charlie Perdue and Jack Bower were elected to four year terms, and David Hausmann was elected to a two year term, grabbing the the third and final spot.
In the race for Effingham City Council, Kirk Wohlgemuth, Mark Hurst, David Lowe, Kirk Kloepper, and Todd Eckert were all elected to the Coucil.
Over in Muscotah, Lester Tacker was re-elected as Mayor
On the USD 377 Board of Education, Barbara Chapman won election to the Position one spot, Stephanie Moore was elected to the Position three spot, and Nancy Keith was elected as Member At Large.
In Jefferson County, Carrie Belveal was elected to the Position one spot on the Valley Falls USD 338 Board of Education.
On the Oskaloosa USD 341 Board of Education, Kimberly Shufflebarger won election to the Position two spot, while Megan Milner was elected to the Position three spot.
All results are unofficial until the ballots are canvassed Monday.
