(KAIR)--An Olathe man was arrested Friday evening after police say he caused a disturbance on the campus of Benedictine college.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says police were called to the campus after 21-year-old Alan Whitacre was confronted by campus security officers and told to leave the campus. Whitacre, who is not affiliated with the college in any way, allegedly told the officers that he was going to cause them harm.
Atchison police were able to locate Whitacre less than a block from the campus and took him into custody.
Whitacre was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including aggravated assault, criminal trespass, and obstructing the legal process.
