(KNZA)--Little is known regarding what information may have been compromised in what is being called a breach of the City of Hiawatha's computer system.
Word of the incident was made public Wednesday in a press release issued by City Clerk Vivian Constable.
The release states that federal law enforcement is heading up the investigation into the matter, assisted by the Hiawatha Police Department and the City's information technology professionals.
Although it's not immediately known if any personal information was affected by the breach, the release states that if it was, those who were affected will be notified through the U.S. Postal Service.
