(KMZA)--A rear-end collision on I-470 over Huntoon Avenue in Topeka Friday afternoon sent a Blue Rapids man to the hospital.
The KHP says 34-year-old Vance Spiker was a passenger in a sport utility vehicle that had slowed down due to traffic congestion and was struck in the rear by a car driven by 76-year-old Hoyt resident Sharon Flint.
Spiker was transported to Topeka’s Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center with unspecified injuries.
Flint and the driver of the SUV, from Osage City, were not hurt.
The Patrol says all the occupants were wearing seat belts.
The wreck was reported around 3:40.
