(KAIR)--A vehicle reported stolen out of Missouri, was recovered in Atchison early Monday morning.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says it happened after police responded to a call at a residence in the 1900 block of Harper Drive. It was there, that police found 43-year-old Jason Alexander of Joplin, Missouri, who was wanted on a detain order out of Missouri on a parole violation. Police also found at the scene a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Carthage, Missouri.
Alexander was taken into custody and transported to the Atchison County Jail, where he faces a charge of possession of stolen property in addition to the Missouri detain order.
