(MSC News)--Flags will fly at half-staff across Kansas through Saturday in honor of Navy Petty Officer Randall Smith, who died Saturday afternoon. He was 26-years-old. Smith, who has ties to Kansas, was one of five military members killed during the July 16th attack on military recruiting centers in Tennessee.
Governor Sam Brownback has ordered the flags to be flown at half-staff from sun-up to sun-down through Saturday, and says they may be ordered to half-staff again on the day of Smith's funeral.
