Pawnee County Fair Underway

(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Fair starts Wednesday and continues through Saturday in Pawnee City. 

A highlight this year will be the return of the Outlaw Hot Rod Tractor Pullers on Friday night. These are mini-hot rod pulling tractors with up to 2,500 horse-power.  

Other events during the Fair include:

Wednesday Jul 22 – 12:30 p-m horse show.    6 p-m Garden Tractor Pull;  Team penning at 7:30 p-m.  

Thursday 23rd – 6 p-m Pawnee County Fair Parade. The theme this year is “Lets Celebrate.” The parade will travel the same route as last year.  6 p-m chicken barbecue;  6:30 p-m there is an ATV rodeo.  7 p-m music by the Greg Blecha Trio. 8 p-m the Ranch Rodeo begins. 

Friday 24th – 8 p-m First night of the 21st Annual Rodeo.

Saturday 25th – 8 a-m Mud volleyball tournament.  2 p-m the livestock premium sale will be held at 2 p-m at the Livestock Arena. 5 p-m the 45ht Annual Truck and Tractor Pull begins.   8 p-m is the second night of the 21st Annual Rodeo.

The 4-H Building is open from noon until 10 p-m Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and from noon until 9 p-m Saturday. 

There is a flea market going on Thursday through Saturday at the Pawnee County Fair.
