(KMZA)-- The Nemaha County Fair kicks off Friday at the fairgrounds in Seneca.
Exhibits will be entered Friday morning. That evening the Pork Producers will hold a BBQ, and the hog and horse shows will be held. The evening will end with a free concert in Skoch Park by Wade Talley and Tim Strathman.
Saturday will bring the sheep, goat, bucket calf, dairy and beef shows. The Cattlewomen’s BBQ will take place that evening beginning at 6 and McClain’s Mutton Busting will be back again this year beginning at 7 as well.
Highlights Sunday include a Car Show at the City Park as well as the Antique Tractor Show, 4-H Fashion Revue at the Community Building beginning at 1:30, as well as the Barnyard Olympics at the fairgrounds at 3. There will also be an Antique Tractor Pull Sunday afternoon at 2 on the old golf course across from the fairgrounds. The day will conclude with a parade at 6:30. The theme for this year’s parade is “ Discover the Treasures of 4-H.”
There will be inflatables in Skoch Park Saturday and Sunday evenings.
The fair will wrap up Monday evening with the 4-H and FFA livestock auction.
