(KNZA)--The Jackson County Fair will kick-off Monday, and runs through Friday.
This year marks the first year the fair is being held entirely at the Northeast Kansas Heritage Complex, which is the new fairgrounds located three miles south of Holton on U.S. 75 Highway, and just west on 214th Road.
Monday brings the 4-H sheep show and 23rd Annual Kiddie Tractor Pull. The tractor pull will take place at 7 in the evening at the Farm Bureau Pavillion at the fairgrounds, with registration beginning at 5:30
Highlights Tuesday include the 4-H hog, bucket calf and beef shows.
The fair parade will be held at 6 o’clock Wednesday evening along the traditional route in Holton. The 4-H talent show and style revue gets underway that evening at 8:30 at the Margaret Hund Memorial Amphitheater at the fairgrounds.
The livestock sale will take place at 6 Thursday evening.
Toby’s Amusements will be on the Midway Monday through Saturday evenings providing carnival rides and games.
