Soldier Exhibit Coming to Pott Co Fair
07/27/2015

(KMZA)--A mobile display created to honor fallen Kansas servicemen for their sacrifice while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan will be featured during the Pottawatomie County Fair beginning Wednesday.

The photo exhibit, “Remembering Our Fallen” will feature seventy-nine military members from Kansas who lost their lives in the War on Terror since 9/11.

Dody Berg from Pottawatomie County decided to bring the display to northeast Kansas after coming across the exhibit in Iowa.  Her son, Sgt. 1st Class Forrest Robertson from Westmoreland, is included in the display.

The exhibit is being funded through donations by the local American Legion, the Masons, the Patriot Riders and private individuals.

The display was created and started in 2010 by Bill and Evonne Williams of Patriotic Productions, an Omaha-based non-profit organization.

There are currently displays finished in twenty-two states representing each fallen serviceman who called that state home.

The exhibit will located in the east 4-H building at the fairgrounds in Onaga.   It will be available to view free of charge during the Pottawatomie County Fair, which runs Wednesday through Sunday.
