(KAIR)--The 66th annual Jefferson County Fair is ready to kick off Monday at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds in Valley Falls.
Monday will bring judging for many 4-H projects, along with a flag raising ceremony set to take place that evening at 5:30. The sheep and meat goat shows will take place after the ceremony.
On Tuesday night, the parade will take place starting at 7:00, followed by the crowning of Fair Royalty at 8:30 in the Show Arena.
The rabbit and beef shows will start Wednesday morning starting at 8:00 and 4-H Ambassadors will be conducting various games from 2:00-4:00 that afternoon.
Thursday morning brings the dairy goat show at 8:00, the dairy show starting at 9:00, and the livestock showmanship final event at 10:00. The flag lowering ceremony will take place at 1:45 that afternoon, and the fair will end with the 4-H dance that is set to run from 8:30-11:00 at the Fair Building.
