(KLZA)-- Humboldt City Council members will meet in special session Tuesday, August 11 to again discuss approval of the Civic and Community Financing Fund Grant Contract for the Humboldt City Auditorium renovation.
The Council wants to confirm that enough money is available through the Friends of the Auditorium group for the required 50-percent match. If not, the City would be liable to come up with the money.
In other action the Council granted the Humboldt Chamber permission to use the City Streets for the Humboldt Free Fair and Richardson County Fair in September.
Two contract were approved regarding the Humboldt Cemetery. $2,000 was approved to have JEO create a map of the cemetery. In addition $890 was approved to have B-Com Solutions of Auburn create a data base / directory for the cemetery. There will also be an annual $75 fee.
A pair of housing rehab grant drawdowns were approved.
