(KAIR)--The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that work on all on and off ramps on a stretch of Interstate 29 will commence after a short delay.
According to a release from MoDot, the ramps are located on northbound I-29 between 1.5 miles south of Route O in Buchanan County and Business Route 71 in Andrew County. Work had originally been scheduled to start Monday evening, but weather over the weekend delayed other work and pushed the ramp project back to Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
All work is scheduled to begin no earlier than 6:00 each evening after peak travel times, and should be completed by 6:00 the following morning. Motorists may experience delays both at the ramp locations and along the mainline interstate as slow moving equipment must be transported between each ramp.
Drivers should be alert, and follow all construction signs and message boards.
All work is weather permitting, and is subject to change.
