(KAIR)--An Executive Director is named for the Live Well Live Atchison Organization.
According to a press release posted on the organization's website, the Board of Directors has named Andrea Clements to the role.
Live Well, Live Atchison member Jeff Schuele says she is by far, the best person for the job. “We were very impressed. We had a numerous amount of candidates, I believe there were about eighteen total that applied for the position, not just from Atchison, but from out of area as well. She had the right tangibles and a great mix of being tuned in with what we needed to do to increase our health rankings in Atchison County, with a great personality, and a great business background as well as non-profit background.”
Clements begins her new duties Monday.
Her job as Executive Director will include leadership and management of the organization, implementation of programs, leadership of day-to-day operations, budget preparation, and securing funding, among other responsibilities.
Clements, an Atchison County native, has spent the last two years as financial center manager for UMB Bank in Atchison. Prior to that, the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, graduate has worked in roles that included the securing of grant-funds for family-focused programs and case management for foster care and adoption.
Clements, in the press release, says she looks forward to furthering the work of Live Well Live Atchison, which is focused on making Atchison County one of the healthiest counties in Kansas.
