Falls City School Board Discusses Buses
10/16/2015

(KLZA)-- During the Falls City Board of Education meeting this week,  Superintendent Tim Heckenlively said the district plans to apply for another EPA bus grant.

More money has been put in the fund.  Last year Falls City received a grant to help purchase a 78-passenger bus.

Heckenlively said discussion has also been held about purchasing a larger transit bus to use for activities or possibly looking a getting a coach-type bus at some point in the future. The coach-type buses are more expensive but are considered to be safer and have expanded storage areas underneath for equipment.
