Natural Resources Commission Announces Public Meetings

At a June 20 meeting in Kearney, the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) approved going forward to receive public input on proposed changes to the rules (Title 261 of the Nebraska Administrative Code) for the Water Sustainability Fund. The proposed changes can be viewed on the NRC website at https://nrc.nebraska.gov/ under the News and Meetings tab.

Four public meetings will be held to discuss and receive feedback on the proposed changes. The meetings will be held at the following places and times:

July 20, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Quarry Oaks, 16600 Quarry Oaks Drive, Ashland NE

July 26, 2017, 1:30 PM, at Hampton Inn, 507 Talmadge St., Kearney, NE

August 1, 2017, 1:30 PM, at Ainsworth Community & Conference Center, 606 E. 4th St., Ainsworth, NE

August 2, 2017, 9:00 AM, at Hampton Inn, 301 W. Highway 26, Scottsbluff, NE
