The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission
will share information on Burchard Reservoir improvements at an
informational meeting in Tecumseh.
The project includes bank stabilization, better access for
boaters and anglers, habitat improvements and rehabilitation of the
outlet structure.
Biologists and engineers will discuss the need for the project,
its timetable and measures being taken to protect the fishery.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Feb. 1 at the
Nemaha Natural Resources District office.
The 145-acre reservoir is in Pawnee County, northeast of the
town of Burchard.
