A new small business is hoping to start up in Atchison, but must first go through the Planning Commission for its application.

The planning commission will consider approving a home occupation permit to Sharon Berry at 1009 Parallel Street Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 at city hall.

Community Development Director Stefanie Leif says Berry plans to hold the business part time.
