Atchison Woman Newly Admitted to Kansas Bar

(KAIR) -- An Atchison woman is part of this year’s new class of Kansas attorneys.

Jen Cocking was among the 140 new admittees to the Kansas Bar Association late last week.

Chief Justice Lawton Nuss, of the Kansas Supreme Court, presided over the swearing-in of the new Kansas attorneys in Topeka.

KBA President Lee Smithyman, of Overland Park, presented the newly admitted attorneys with a complimentary, one-year membership to the KBA.

Cocking completed her undergraduate work in English Literature at Washburn University and recently completed her Juris Doctorate at Washburn.
