(KAIR) -- This is the sound that some Atchison area AT&T customers hear when they attempt to call from a landline to a cell phone.

According to AT&T Management at the Atchison store, it only affects those with a 367 landline prefix attempting to contact a 370 cell phone prefix.
AT&T says they first learned of the problem Tuesday and have been flooded with calls since.
They say they are reporting the cases to national technicians.
Local management says the network techs are currently researching the problem, however, there’s currently no timetable as to when the issue will be resolved.
