Pawnee County Board Approves Zoning Recommendation

(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Commissioners this week voted to transfer the Hauner Funds totaling just over $94,500 from the General Fund to the county Road / Bridge Fund per the wishes of the Hauner family.

Commissioners also decided to keep the Stop Class Funds in a separate account for easier tracking.  

Jonathan Bailey met with the Board concerning a Planning Commission recommendation on Zoning Regulations.  Commissioners voted to approve the recommendation concerning the number of animals and regulations on expanding the number of animal units.

A letter from Elsie Kooistra-Sullivan, asking if the County would be willing to accept a donation of property at 1104 7th Street.  No action was taken concerning the proposal. 

Approval was also granted to Qualify Homes to move two houses in Pawnee County. 

The Commissioners also discussed the Pawnee County Veterans Memorial Wall weed management and snow removal, which is the responsibility of the Janitor.
