Jefferson Co Commissioners Hear From Citizens
04/25/2012

Jefferson County Commissioners spent the majority of their Monday meeting hearing concerns from citizens within the county.

The first was Bill Noll, who requested placement of a yield or stop sign at the intersection of Scott Road and 166th Road north of Winchester due to safety concerns.

Commissioners told Noll they would look into what could be done.

The second came from Katie Bower of Oskaloosa.

She requested a vacation of a part of 118th street east of US-59 highway.

Commissioners then asked to provide a legal description and list adjoining property owners for the part of the road she wishes to have vacated.

Once she obtains this, she can submit the information for potential action.
