Jefferson Co Attorney Looking to Start Codes Courts
04/10/2013

(KAIR) -- Jefferson County may soon have a Codes Court.

County Attorney Jason Belveal and Deputy County Attorney Michael Serra met with Commissioners this week about instituting the court in an effort to prosecute zoning violations.

Belveal offered to appoint new County Counselor Josh Ney  as a special prosecutor to those cases.

Ney offered his views on the proposal, but no action was taken by Commissioners.
