(KTNC) - Nemaha County, Nebraska authorities say a man who fled after leading deputies on a chase late Saturday night is in custody.
A deputy stopped a white Ford Mustang with Missouri plates near Central Avenue and N Street in Auburn shortly after 11:00 p.m. Saturday. The driver, identified as 32-year-old Thomas Davis, fled the scene and led deputies on a chase through residential areas of south Auburn.
A passenger jumped out of the vehicle near 23rd and R Streets, and Davis fled on foot after driving the Mustang into a ditch on S Street.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office says Davis was arrested shortly before 10:30 Sunday morning and is being held in the Nemaha County Jail.
