(KLZA) -- Pawnee County Commissioners conduced a public hearing Tuesday on amending the budget. A resolution was adopted to transfer funds from the General Fund to the Handibus Fund. A resolution was also passed to transfer funds from the Treasurer’s Clearing House Account to the County General Fund.
Commissioners granted approval to store stone for the Veteran’s Memorial in the County Yard and to use county personnel and equipment to move the stone to the Courthouse.
Board members also responded to a letter from nearby counties indicating Pawnee County is not interested in forming a Regional Veterans Service at this time.
Terry Kerl was appointed Weed Superintendent at a salary of $550 per month and Planning Commission Manager at $400 per month
