Former longtime Seneca City Attorney Richard Massieon has died.
Massieon died Sunday at his home at the age of 65.
He moved to Seneca in 1972 and opened up his law firm.
Massieon served 29 years as Seneca City attorney and four years as Onaga City Attorney. In addition, Massieon was elected to two terms as Nemaha County Attorney.
Massieon was very civic minded and loved Seneca. He was involved with several civic organizations and served on various committees.
Funeral mass for Massieon will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca.
