The preliminary hearing for a Fairview woman charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated endangerment of a child has been postponed.
The hearing for 36-year-old Tammy Thomas was continued today ( Wednesday ) in Brown County Court to May 30th at the request of her court-appointed attorney, William O’Keefe of Seneca.
Thomas was arrested last Friday following an investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
She is accused of placing gasoline on the bed of a child born in 2004 in an attempt to kill the child.
The child escaped unharmed and the gasoline wasn’t ignited.
Thomas remains in the Brown County Jail on $750,000 bond.
