A skid loader accident claims the life of a Pottawatwomie County man.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat says the sheriff’s office received a 911 call just after 3:45 Tuesday afternoon of man who was trapped under a skid loader in rural Olsburg. Emergency personnel and law enforcement officers responded to the call. Upon arrival, Riat says they found 65-year-old Jerry DeFoor trapped between the bucket of the skid loader and the cab. DeFoor was pronounced dead at the scene.
