The Pawnee City, City Council, will meet at 7:30 Monday evening at City Hall.
The council will receive an update from Zoning Administrator Clint Johnson on the progress of wellhead protection. Pawnee City is seeking to establish a wellhead protection area around the town’s well field. The Pawnee County Planning Commission tabled action on the matter earlier this month, pending the receipt of more information from the city.
Other business for the council includes a discussion of updates to the Employee Handbook.
The council will consider action on a contract with HJP Pest Control to spray for mosquitoes again this year.
The council will consider requesting a three-month extension on the Housing Rehabilitation Program from the Department of Economic Development.
And the council is expected to accept the resignation of Office Clerk Tina Moore effective as of May 31st.
