Richardson County Commissioners To Interview Candidate for Assessor Position
Richardson County Commissioners will meet at 9 a-m Tuesday at the courthouse in Falls City.
During the meeting Commissioners will hear an update on Road and Bridge Department projects at 9:15. Russ Newton with Nebraska Machinery Company will present information to the Board at 10 a-m on a tracking system available from CAT.
A public hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a-m concerning the Verdon Rural Fire Department provided fire protection for the Village of Verdon.
The quarterly jail inspection will be conducted at 11 a-m. At 11:30 a-m Commissioners will interview Pam Vice who applied to fill the vacant position of Count Assessor for the remaining term of the office. Following the interview Commissioners are expected to consider the appointing a person to fill the vacancy.
Following a recess, Commissioners will meet at 4:10 p-m to finalize the Union contract with the Road and Bridge Department and at 4:15 p-m they will discuss a grievance filed by Joseph Cromer.
