Former Husker Kinnie Signs with Chiefs
Former Nebraska wide receiver Brandon Kinnie wasn’t selected in the NFL Draft this past weekend, but he is one of 15 undrafted free agents to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kinnie, who participated in the Chiefs local pro day on April 10th, will begin play for them at next week’s rookie camp.
Before playing at Nebraska, Kinnie was a former prep standout at Grandview High School, just 13 miles south of Arrowhead Stadium, and was a star player on the receiving end of passes from former Kansas State quarterback Josh Freeman, who plays for Tampa Bay.
