A Seneca man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 24 Highway in Pottawatomie County Tuesday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Patrick James Wahl was traveling east when for an unknown reason his Chevy Impala struck the barrier wall in a construction zone about 1 ½ miles east of St. Marys.
Wahl was transported to Stormont Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka with disabling injuries.
The Patrol says he was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident was reported shortly before 7:30 Tuesday morning.
