A portion of U.S. 77 Highway in Marshall County will be closed Friday for railroad crossing repair project.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the highway will be closed to traffic between Indian and Hideway Roads for repair work on the railroad crossing north of Marysville.
The highway will be closed Friday for about 16 hours.
A marked detour will be provided.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, traffic will be reduced to one lane for continued repair work on the railroad crossing.
Traffic will be directed through the work zone via flaggers. Drivers should expect minor delays both days.
The project is scheduled to be completed on Sunday,weather permitting.
