A young Sabetha man convicted of aggravated burglary following a beating that sent another Sabetha man to the hospital has been placed on probation.
Dalton Fletcher was given a suspended prison sentence Thursday in Nemaha County District Court and placed on 36-months supervised probation.
Fletcher pleaded no contest in March to the charge. As part of a plea agreement, three additional counts were dismissed.
Co-defendant, Gunner Werner of Sabetha, was given a suspended prison sentence last month on charges of aggravated battery and aggravated intimidation of a witness. The sentence was suspended to 60 days in the Nemaha County Jail, to be followed by 36 months supervised probation.
The pair was charged with entering the home of Ryan Lemons on December 9th without his consent, and attacking him.
Lemons was transported to the Sabetha Community Hospital with injuries to his face and head.
