The traditional summer travel season begins this weekend and the Kansas Department of Transportation has travel information tools to help make your trip safe and more enjoyable.
KDOT’s Barb Blue says one of those options is a web site at www.kandrive.org, which tells travelers which roads are impacted by roadwork, as well as camera images along major roadways in the state.

Traffic Management Centers in Kansas City and Wichita,use up-to-the minute information to provide travel speeds and camera views on select routes, posted message sign views and other helpful information for drivers.
KanDrive provides links to KC Scout, www.kcscout.org and WICHway www.wichway.org, the new Wichita metro website.
Blue says there’s also the conventional method by phone.
