The Mound City Scholar Bowl Team capped off a great season with a 6th place finish in a national tournament in Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend.
Following a 48-3 season including a Missouri Class I State Title the 11-member squad competed against 29 other teams in Georgia this past weekend.
On Saturday the Panthers went 4-6 in the Small School division earning a berth into the Sunday action. After winning the first two rounds Mound City was eliminated in the third round on Sunday.
