Richardson County Commissioners Meet
Richardson County Commissioners approved a permit for the use of over width vehicles on county roads by Telecom Construction when they met Tuesday.
A resolution authorizing the State of Nebraska to act on behalf of Richardson County for the installation of the advance railroad signing with no costs to the County on a project near Stella was approved.
A professional services agreement for consulting and providing environmental documentation services with Felsburg, Holt and Ullevig for the Tynon Bridge project southeast of Stella was also approved. The cost to the county will be $9,854.
A salary increase for the Road and Bridge Department foremen was approved. The increase of 2.75 percent will be based on the highest paid foremen, which will amount to 54 cents per hour.
Annual reports were presented by John Day with Blue Valley Regional Health and Jamie Rutt, Extension Agent, 4-H Aide who talked about the school enrichment programs in Richardson County.
Commissioners also approved continuing with the NACO Group health insurance coverage with Blue Cross / Blue Shield for the policy year July 2012 through June 30th, 2013 with no change in the premium.
Clerk of the District Court Pam Scott was appointed to the Road Department Grievance Board to fill the elected official position on the Board left vacant by the resignation of Regina Cummings.
County Clerk Mary Eickhoff presented a report on the medical reimbursement program the County administers for county employees in which a return to the General Fund of $15,992 for calendar year 2012 will be submitted.
