The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.
Sheriff Greg Riat says 16-year-old Camille Marie Petit is believed to have left her home in Emmett without the permission of her parents on Wednesday.
Petit is described as five foot, six inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes.
She has other family in the Wamego area.
A second runaway juvenile, 16-year-old Emily Renae McGuire, was taken into custody without incident Friday in Westmoreland. She reportedly left her home in Westmoreland without permission of a parent on Thursday.
Riat says the case has been forwarded to the Pottawatomie County Attorney's office.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Petit is asked to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s office at (785) 457-3353.
