Southeast Community College in Beatrice will host the Annual Southeast Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Game on Friday June 15th at 7:30 p-m and the Girls and Boys All-Star Basketball games on Saturday June 16th at 6 and 8 p-m. All three games will be contested at the Truman Center on the SCC campus.
Over 80 high schools were invited to make nominations for the squads. Teams were selected by nominations submitted by Southeast Nebraska coaches which were then screened by a committee.
This years All-Stars include:
Volleyball:
East Squad: Haley Kreifels and Kayla Haneline from Lourdes Central Catholic.
McKinsie Reeves of Auburn; Nicole Wenzl of Sterling; Hanna Morrison from Syracuse; Kaci Cole from Johnson-Brock; Janae Koester of Pawnee City and Hannah Volker from HTRS.
Girls Basketball: East Squad: Coaches will be John Mohr of Diller-Odell and John Cockerill of Sterling.
Stacy Grabowski of Diller-Odell; Chelsea Borrenpohl from Johnson County Central; Ashleigh Jordening from Falls City; Savannah Banks from Freeman; Jacqueline Frary from Auburn; Kellie Gaddy from Lewiston; Hanna Alberts from Johnson-Brock and Kelly Schawang and Sara Landis from Falls City Sacred Heart.
Boys Basketball: East Squad: Coaches will be Nick Krenk from Johnson-Brock and Bryce Roth from Auburn.
