That follows a special day of appreciation hosted Wednesday in Hiawatha by Doctor Sean Binkley, of Binkley Chiropractic.
During the day, his office asked patients not to pay outright, with food donations, meant for those in need, accepted instead.
As lunch on the lawn was held, and burgers grilled, around 80 patients visited the office, paying with the food items.
Once the day ended, Dr. Binkley’s office had collected nearly 250 items for the local food pantry, as well as donations earmarked for the annual Brown County Relay for Life.
