An Atchison man has filed to challenge incumbent Kansas House Representative Jerry Henry.
John Gotts filed Monday before the noon deadline for the Republican nomination for the 63rd District that covers Atchison and Doniphan Counties.
He is the only person seeking the nomination on that ticket.
Henry, who filed at the first of the month for the Democratic nomination, is the only person on that ticket.
Henry has served as 63rd District Representative since 2003.
