Contracts are approved, including that for a new principal, in Marysville USD 364, following this weeks meeting of the Board of Education.
Selected as Principal of the Marysville Elementary School is Sherry Helus.
The current third-grade teacher in Wamego was offered a contract with a salary of
65-thousand-dollars by the board.
She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Bert Lord from the position.
Also offered a contract is Doctor Randy Freeman, who becomes Special Education Director, for a salary of 70-thousand dollars.
He previously served as the Silver Lake Superintendent prior to his recent retirement.
The Board of Education for USD 364 also hired two new teachers, with Kelli Rader selected to teach 3rd grade while Alison Strathman was named the new 5th grade teacher.
