Horton Police are investigating the alleged stabbing of a Horton man Friday evening.
Police Chief Beau Hasenohr says the victim, Stephen James, was found stumbling through the parking lot of Lentz Express about 6:30 P.M.
Hasenohr says James described his attacker as a white male in his 30’s to 40’s, about 5 foot six inches tall, with a goatee and possibly long hair.
He was wearing a white tank top or sleeveless white shirt, dark cut off shorts and white Reebok tennis shoes.
Hasenohr says the suspect fled on foot after the attack, which allegedly took place in the alley south of Lentz Express.
He says James suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was treated at the Horton Hospital and released.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the Horton Police Department at 785-486-2694.
