Three Hiawatha residents have been arrested on drug charges in two separate cases.
Based on an investigation, Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says deputies served a search warrant at 2254 U.S. 73 Highway Friday.
53-year-old Rodney Bindel was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a separate case, Merchant says after responding to a domestic call last Tuesday the sheriff’s department obtained a search warrant for a residence located at 507 Delaware Street in Hiawatha.
49-year-old Malinda Pattangall and 58-year-old William Thomas were arrested on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
