29 year old Aric Russell of Falls City sustained a disabling injury to his lower leg area in a two vehicle accident last Thursday afternoon about 12:15 p-m at the intersection of 16th and Harlan Streets.
Russell was southbound on Harlan in a car when a northbound pickup driven by Dean Lewis of Nemaha, Nebraska turned west onto 16th Street in front of the Russell vehicle.
Russell was temporarily trapped inside his car. He was transported to Community Medical Center in Falls City with what were described in the police report as a disabling injury to his lower left leg or foot.
Lewis was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
