( KNZA )--The Brown County Election Office will hold “ early voting” for the August 7th primary election at three locations, beginning Friday ( July 20th ).
Early voting will take place Friday morning from 9 to 11 at the Powhattan Shelter House, Friday afternoon from 1 to 4 at the Morrill Community Center, and Monday ( July 23rd ) in Everest at the Northfield Community Room from 1 to 4.
Any registered Brown County voter may vote at these locations.
Advanced Voting for the August primary election will begin Tuesday ( July 24th ) at the Brown County Clerk’s office in the Brown County Courthouse.
Voters may vote in person or call the Brown County Clerk’s office for an advance ballot application.
The advance application may also be printed from the Brown County Website at ks-brown-manatron.com
You can vote by advance ballot in the county clerk’s office through noon, August 6th. Friday, August 3rd is the last day to request to have an advance ballot application sent to you.
Beginning with the August primary election, voters will be required by state law to present a photo ID at each election.
