( KMZA )--Seneca City Administrator Tami Haverkamp is resigning from her position, effective November 30th.
The city council accepted Haverkamp’s resignation Wednesday evening.

The council approved a 50-cent across the board pay increase for all city employees, effective January 1st, 2013.
The pay increase is part of a pay plan developed by the council’s employee committe, which also includes merit raises for employees who show exemplary work to be determined during the annual employee evaluation.
Council member Bob Claas ( Class ) cast the lone no vote, saying he would prefer to vote on the pay raise and pay plan as separate items.
On the recommendation of the city planning commission, the council approved a zoning change for property located at 214 North 1st Street from a residential to general commercial district. Richard Allen of Seneca plans to build an electric shop on the property.
