The Richardson County Junior Fair is this week in Humboldt.
The fair kicks into high gear Wednesday, with the Horse Show at 9:00 a.m. and the Meat Goat Show at 4:00 p.m., followed by the Sheep Show.
The poultry show and rabbit show are scheduled on Thursday, with the swine show, dairy goat, and dairy cattle shows, and livestock judging all taking place on Friday. The beef show is scheduled for Saturday morning with the livestock support auction beginning at 7:30 Saturday evening.
Other events include the pedal tractor pull, riding mower contest, and tractor operator contest all scheduled Friday afternoon, along with the ATV contest.
The silent static support auction and 4-H Council elections will take place Wednesday through Saturday, and the Ag Society Breakfast is scheduled from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Saturday, with the 4-H Council/FFA Barbecue scheduled from 5:30 till 7:30 on Saturday evening.
