Governor to Launch Drought Resource Site, Discuss Drought Relief and Recover Efforts
Kansas Governor Sam Brownback will meet with state and local leaders and representatives from agriculture and business Friday, August 10, to discuss the devastating toll drought is taking on Kansans. They will work to identify further opportunities for local, state and federal government to work with Kansans to recover from the drought.
Governor Brownback also will launch a new web-based resource created for Kansans seeking drought information.
