Budget Hearings on Agenda for Pawnee City Council

(KTNC) - The Pawnee City, City Council, will open Monday night’s meeting with a public hearing on the 2012-13 Budget.  A hearing will then be held to set the final tax request.  Public input will be heard at each hearing.
    The board will consider resolutions to approve the 2012-13 Fiscal Year Budget and property tax request.  The proposed tax request is $103,004 and the tax request is 49.78 cents.
    The council will also consider appointing people to fill two vacancies on the Airport Authority Board, and will consider approving the solid waste disposal agreement with Seneca Sanitation.
    The Pawnee City Council meeting begins at 7:30 Monday evening.  After holding the last two meetings in the Union Bank basement, this week’s council meeting will be held at City Hall.
